BetterUp, a technology company in the virtual coaching space, has announced an expanded collaboration with Workday, the ERP platform provider.
Erik Darby, Vice President of Business Development at BetterUp, says the extended integration will help “organisations to quickly identify and address their needs by seamlessly assigning coaches to help employees develop and grow both personally and professionally.”
BetterUp will use the tools and data from Workday Peakon Employee Voice to build and deliver tailored coaching programs that address specific employee needs and organisational goals.
Workday Peakon Employee Voice is an AI-powered platform providing organisations with tailored insights into how their employees feel, allowing management to take appropriate action when required.
The deeper integration with BetterUp will reportedly allow organisations access to insights that can be translated into personalised coaching recommendations for managers, addressing specific areas that need improvement.
It will also become simpler to measure the effectiveness of extant and new coaching programmes, and show the value of investment in employee well-being and development by tracking improvement in performance and engagement scores.
Speaking on the further integration with Workday Peakon Employee Voice, Darby said, “combining their incredible listening platform and insights with BetterUp’s scalable coaching platform [will] drive performance across teams.”
The BetterUp coaching platform uses behavioural science, data, and AI to deliver personalised experiences for its users. According to the company, it ‘promotes human connection and employee engagement.’
The company says its platform improves employee performance by up to 20% and employee retention by 60%, with technology that, in part, uses information from a large dataset gathered from coaching programme outcomes. BetterUp states it blends technology and human expertise to create organisational change.
The latest partnership expansion appears to be a part of Betterup’s broader strategy to increase its platform’s integrations with other ERP software, including Salesforce and IBM.
