Please can you introduce yourself and provide a brief history of your digital marketing journey?
I started my career dancing between PR, graphic design and marketing – the trifecta for digital marketing – balancing honest content and creative that matters to audiences with real revenue generation. I found my stride in developing marketing and commercial programs for international industrial B2Bs – mostly in the very cool world of robotics and automation. (Currently living in the Netherlands, originally from Florida. Go Gators!)
What aspects of the Harmonizing Sales and Marketing panel at DMWF Europe on the 26-27 November, are you most excited about as a speaker?
I’m hoping to steal some great ideas from my fellow panellists!
Which project from the past year stands out as your proudest achievement?
This year we launched a new controller platform (read: robot computer). It’s a fantastic piece of technology – and it was the first time we really brought together sales + marketing + communications for a launch. The results – from creative to sales – have been really gratifying.
What marketing advancement and trend are you most enthusiastic about in the digital marketing landscape?
I am amazed by those who are creating compelling stories via data visualization.
What single piece of advice would you give to a friend working in the digital marketing space?
Get as many different perspectives in the room as possible! The same perspectives get the same results. Try something new!
